Day 1: January 12 2009
I have decided rather than prefixing “report” or “progress” to the name of a post I will simply create each post as the date it was written, and add those other pieces as tags.
So, day 1.. kind of, technically I started last night but that was for testing and getting the times together and all that good stuff. I started off today on the wrong foot, didn’t work out at my planned time of day “11:00″ but I didn’t let that get me, I just shifted my day around, and got started around 4:00. I will make a better effort to work out at the right time moving forward.
Overall today went good, it (Wii Fit) seems to inform me I lost 2.5 pounds, but thats subjective.. fluids, food, etc.. Either way, loss is good! My arms started to hurt after a while, but I pushed through it and completed the daily program.
I have even assigned my first loss goal, 5 pounds in 2 weeks. I figured I would start there and maybe ramp it up as I get back into the swing of things. The last time I focused on working out like this was back in high school, about 5-6 years ago.. so I need some “warm up time”. I spent a couple dollars last night purchasing the iPhone application WeightBot (iTunes link), which tracks your BMI (as you enter it daily) and setting up some work out guidelines.
