My name is Mathew Keefe. I am a loving husband, father, entrepreneur, developer and teacher with a strong background in application development for the web, mobile and offline platforms. I have had the immense pleasure of working with many companies and studios throughout my professional career, including Adobe, Comcast, Delphi, Disney, Nike, OSHA, Lenovo, Porsche, PhotoshopCafe & Warner Brothers.

Chapter I

My interest in computers began when I was 14 years old and received my own custom computer built by my dad. Soon after I was tinkering with design programs, making basic websites and was instantly hooked. Fast forward to my sophomore year in high school when I had the opportunity to work with the web team on local websites and programming projects. After graduating in 2003 I started my first company, which was actually a single man freelance setup, but did allow me the opportunity to work with larger agencies and companies. In addition I was a hired gun for many of the larger agencies where I was brought in on projects during the 11th hour. My personal favorite is one I can never post about, but can say it was for a company with a very famous mouse as its logo. I would continue to freelance with companies of all sizes for about 8 years when the next chapter of my professional life would begin.

Chapter II

In early 2011 I started PixelBit, a web and mobile studio that helps brands of all sizes. Over the last 4 years i’ve had the immense pleasure of working with clients of all sizes (similar to my freelance days) but more as direct clients and for longer project lengths. The company also gives me the ability to work with larger teams, build something more substantial and work on more complex projects.

What does Matt do for fun?

When not helping clients and working with my team I like to spend time with my wife and son, read, listen to business podcasts, ride my motorcycle, head to the shooting range, attend car events, work in the garage and travel.

Additionally, I sometimes dabble in photo and video work.
